What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is exactly what the name implies. It's a big list of people from all over the world who have something in common: they all enjoy (and thus are a fan) of whatever the fanlisting's subject is. In recent years, most fanlistings aren't considered "legitimate" unless they are listed at The Fanlistings or The Anime Fanlistings, two gigantic heavyweight fanlisting directories.

Clannad

Clannad is a visual novel and anime produced by Key and Visual Art's. It follows the story of Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa, along with several of their friends, throughout their final high school year. It's a slice of life and romance story, with dashes of the supernatural, with a perfect blend of comedy and drama. If you'd like to watch it, you can do so here on AnimeFreak.

The music of Clannad

Clannad's music is some of the best in anime, and has been well-recieved among fans. It uses not only classical western instruments such as the ominpresent piano, but also classical Japanese instruments. The visual novel and the anime use the same music, although a few songs have been remixed.

Several albums have been released with Clannad's music. Among this is Sorarado, an image album containing six songs sung by Riya; Mabinogi, which contains some of the visual novel's background music; the full original soundtrack; Sorarado Append, a follow-up to Sorarado; -Memento- which features Riya and Lia singing several of the background songs; Piano no Mori, which features piano versions of background music; and the Mag Mell/Dango Daikazoku singles.

The opening of Clannad is "Mag Mell," often written as "Megumeru," the name of it coming from that of the Celtic underworld. It is sung by Lia. The closing song is "Dango Daikazoku" ("Big Dango Family"), a lighthearted lullaby sung by Chata. There are three insert songs: "Ana" is sung by Lia, while "Over" and "Kage Futatsu" ("Two Shadows") are sung by Riya.

About Negai

Negai was opened March 31, 2010. The first layout feature an image of Nagisa as she appears in the anime. The word "Negai" is Japanese for "Wish," and I chose this name as wishes tie in often to Clannad.
